Time to celebrate: From free fireworks to festive feasts, Noosa serves up a wonderful choice of ways to bring in the New Year this Saturday night. Hyatt Regency Coolum 5449 3430) has free fireworks in the Village Square at 9.30pm and plenty of dining options. Sunshine Beach Surf Club (5447 5491) has free fireworks on the beach at 9pm, dining at the restaurant and a DJ till late. Free buses: Don’t forget to hop on a free Sunbus public bus right around the Noosa region and the Sunshine Coast from Boxing Day till January 8 – leave the car behind and save the traffic hassles.
